Sharon Ward is a professional Astrologer who is based in Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. She
has been working with astrology for the past fifteen years. She believes in combining a realistic and
grounded approach to astrology, but the roots of which are spiritual. Sharon says, ‘True astrology is
not what we read in the newspapers, it is a far more complex science than most people realise. I want
to help people understand this and reap the benefits that genuine astrology offers. Astrology is able
to help us on many levels, personally, emotionally, with regards life direction, health and relationship
issues – in fact every sphere of life’. Sharon’s primary motivation is to help individuals understand
themselves and gain a real sense of who they are through astrology.

It was with this in mind she approached Catherine Best. Catherine is one of the few designers who are
innovative enough to tune into the astrological energies and create this specialised jewellery. She is
someone who is able to endow the pieces with real beauty and spiritual depth. She herself is highly
spiritual and has the capacity to understand what people really want. I also needed to work with
someone who was inspired by the idea of bringing real astrology into the mainstream and who was
unafraid of exploring something new.’

It was only when Catherine and Sharon began to work together that they realised just how powerful the
combination of their individual energies really are. Sharon says, ‘It was amazing, Catherine captured the
essence of the Moon and the power of the astrological symbols perfectly in her designs - they resonated
with the individual energies of the Zodiac signs beautifully. I could see that we were able, together, to
bring something entirely new to people’. And so the ‘Moon Sign Pendant ’ range was born….
